As you may or may not know, I use these models in Poser. I utilize a prop converter and also a morph converter by Ken1171_Designs (https://www.renderosity.com/users/Ken1171_Designs). This model proved challenging because the 3DL materials files were not loading. After several trials the workaround was to use the 3DL materials files from the SdeB Bubble Up model. That worked like a charm. In these renders I have used the materials from the Bubble Up model and the Biscuits Sparkle gem tones (Found at Renderosity) for the beads, rubber and clips. The background I am using is the model Seaside by Blue Tree Studios (also found at Renderosity). I was able to get the one side of the flipped hairstyle to work, the spiked bun works well and the original position works well. All of the poses aren't functional yet, but I haven't had the opportunity to play with it extensively. Sometimes removing the Master Synched parameters helps, but again I haven't been able to test all the workarounds yet. All in all it is a beautiful-looking model, and for those who use Daz3d these issues probably won't crop up. Hopefully I'll have time this weekend to work on my review of the Bubble Up model - which is gorgeous.

Who else is bothering to make hair like this for Daztopia? Samsil stands alone. I love the posable braids in front of the ears! Which the old V4 knots did not have. My only issue is the textures look painted rather than photographic. This is not a problem with the black hair when you decrease the diffuse channel, but the other colors show it clearly on headshots, and I have no remedy yet. Still, I'm exceedingly happy with my purchase, and I'm making art, not photography.

Whether he's on an ancient throne, in a courtroom, or on a basketball court, this style will serve your well-dressed man. Nice colors and a pulled together look. I don't know if it's because I am converting the model into Poser, but I am having some challenges simultaneously lighting the front edge up and the fade. When the fade is properly lit the front edge up renders almost white.

I use this Natty Dreads model on my M4 characters in Poser 12 and 13. (If you want to use this model in Poser, I use the Prop converter by Ken 1171_Designs https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/153019/duf-prop-converter-for-poser-12 and Morph converter https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/products/154285/duf-morph-converter-for-poser-12) The locks move well and render well. Okay, when I first opened this up using my old standby converters, Ken1171_Design's Poser 12 prop and morph converters found at Renderosity, I almost lost it. The hair looked like a giant tarantula had attacked the V4 model's head. I tried all sorts of ways and could not get it to work out... until I noticed that I hadn't scrolled all the way down to the bottom of the morphs. When I did scroll down, then lo and behold... there were several morphs fully activated. When you click on those morphs that are highlighted in green and reset them from 1000 to 0, the hair falls right into place. ALSO thank you so much for the 3Delight color palettes because the iray does not work in Poser. See how fabulous Ramona looks! Your genius once again, astounds.

I can give a solid TWO thumbs up on this product...on both actually for the baby hair. I had been waiting for the longest to find something released within the Daz Store, and even Renderosity, with no luck. THEN, I finally remembered stumbling on this particular store early 2023. I had to search my bookmarks, but I did find the store once more. I used this on a G9 model. It works with PERFECTION. What is super cool is that I did not have some of the typical issues encountered when adjusting morphs. I am back here today because of the super positive outcomes of that initial round of purchases. I have coveted Samsil's beautiful hair models since I first viewed them on Renderosity. But they were made for use in Daz, and I almost exclusively work in Poser. Imagine my happiness when I discovered Ken1171 Designs' prop converter and morph converter (https://www.renderosity.com/marketplace/vendors/Ken1171_Designs) that together convert DUF files to use in Poser. Now my character Aziz, from The Chronicles of Renfields can style the 1970s looks I always imagined for him. Once I got them converted into Poser, the models were easy to use and render beautifully. These images are rendered in Poser 12 Superfly. The model is a customized M4.

I saw these models on Renderosity and really wanted to purchase them but they were only for use in DAz3d. Poser is my main platform for creating illustrations and I STILL use M4 and V4. Thankfully with the help of Ken1171 Designs' DUF Proper converted, I was able to convert this model for use in Poser 12 and 13. It exquisite. I'm saving up my ducats for the upcoming sale to get more Samsil goodies! What magnificent work.

This hair is great... but: I have had minor issues when posing the there is no controls for the 4 pony tails. Still recommend this hair and highly recommend the left/right single ponytail options.

This hair is unique. Hair fits G8 models well with no skull cap-model collisions. Careful on some expressions, you may have to adjust scale. Works best with SdeB's Miss B model which I also recommend.

A fantastic product! I have tried many G8M clothing products and very few look realistic. Most of them, particularly the trousers/pants look like they are made from thick foam rubber....The attention to detail with this product is great and the draping is very true to life. I haven't had time to make a more detailed testing as of yet. But as far as this goes your given a lot of materials for this uniforms. I do appreciate that it as setting to apply chosen material to all of the pieces at once. Iray and 3d light is included as well, making it viable for all users of DAZ studio.

No problem with the fitting of the clothes to the G8M.

For it was an instabuy since there's a lack of realistic military uniforms. I also tried it for female characters, obviously it get a bit distorted in the breast area, I had to reduce the breast dimension to make it look good, but it can be good, since the uniform might press the breast and make it look smaller. Great outfit, looking for more like this and also for female versions as well!

I bought the B Jay G8m figure along with almost everything you put out, your work is tight, I was just having a lil trouble getting the wavy hair to fit correctly, I tried to use the smoothing modifier like you showed me and it helped just not all the way, if you could show me how to do it right i would be forever thankful. I think I’ve been buying samsil products for years now. Renderosity and their new Daz store. One thing that I notice in regards to male hair is that it doesn’t work with every single character shape. Particularly anime shapes. THIS crispy wavy hair is LEGIT. I haven’t used the beard yet bc none of my characters have facial hair.
I VERY much appreciate content that is for black people. Meaning hair styles that we normally wear and characters.
