EXTENDED LICENSE AGREEMENT

This Extended License Agreement (the "Agreement") governs the use of digital products provided by SdeBStore (the "Licensor") under an Extended License. By purchasing or otherwise receiving an Extended License for a digital product from SdeBStore, the buyer or authorized user (the "Licensee") agrees to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.

1. Definitions

"Licensed Product" means the specific digital product purchased or obtained from SdeBStore under an Extended License, including any included 3D asset files, hair assets, textures, materials, compatibility versions, and related digital content provided as part of that product listing.

"End Product" means a larger finished project created by the Licensee that incorporates the Licensed Product, such as a rendered image, illustration, animation, video, advertisement, video game, software application, virtual reality project, augmented reality project, or other interactive experience.

"Reusable Asset" means any original or modified version of the Licensed Product that can be accessed, extracted, downloaded, edited, imported, redistributed, or reused separately from an End Product.

2. Grant of License

Subject to the terms and restrictions of this Agreement, the Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use, modify, and incorporate the Licensed Product into personal or commercial End Products.

This license remains valid unless terminated in accordance with this Agreement. The Licensee may sell, publish, or distribute permitted End Products without paying additional royalties to SdeBStore, provided that the Licensed Product is not distributed or made available as a Reusable Asset.

All rights not expressly granted under this Agreement remain reserved by the Licensor.

3. License Scope and Pricing

An Extended License must be purchased separately for each Licensed Product, unless the relevant product page expressly states that an Extended License covers a complete bundle or product pack.

The current price of an Extended License is USD $50 per Licensed Product, unless a different price, discount, promotional offer, or bundle price is clearly displayed on the relevant product page or during checkout before purchase.

The price displayed and accepted by the Licensee during checkout at the time of purchase is the price applicable to that transaction.

Where a single product listing includes multiple compatibility versions of the same product, such as versions for Genesis 8 Female and Genesis 8 Male, one Extended License covers only the files included in that specific product listing.

Purchasing an Extended License for one Licensed Product does not grant the right to use any other SdeBStore product under an Extended License.

Unless otherwise stated on the relevant product page, this Extended License does not impose a numerical limit on the sales, downloads, installations, or end users of a permitted End Product.

4. Permitted Uses

The Licensee is permitted to use the Licensed Product in the following ways:

  • Incorporating the Licensed Product into personal projects, including rendered artwork, illustrations, animations, videos, presentations, portfolio content, and other personal visual projects.
  • Using the Licensed Product in commercial rendered outputs, including advertisements, promotional materials, websites, social media content, marketing visuals, client work, rendered images, and pre-rendered videos.
  • Incorporating the Licensed Product into video games, software, interactive applications, virtual reality projects, augmented reality projects, and real-time projects developed with Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar software.
  • Selling, publishing, or distributing an End Product that incorporates the Licensed Product, including a completed video game, downloadable game, interactive application, animation, film, or commercial visual project.
  • Modifying, adapting, resizing, rigging, converting, optimizing, retexturing, recoloring, or otherwise editing the Licensed Product as reasonably necessary for integration into a permitted End Product.
  • Allowing hairstyles or other Licensed Products to appear as selectable customization options inside a permitted video game or interactive application, provided that users cannot export, download, extract, or reuse them as separate digital assets.
  • Providing access to the Licensed Product to employees or contractors who are working directly on the Licensee's permitted End Product, provided that such access is limited to the needs of that project and that those persons do not reuse, sell, share, or redistribute the Licensed Product outside the project.

5. Video Games, Software and Interactive Applications

The Licensed Product may be embedded in a video game, software application, virtual reality experience, augmented reality experience, or other interactive End Product, including projects developed with Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar software.

The Licensee must take reasonable measures to prevent end users or third parties from extracting, accessing, or reusing the original or modified Licensed Product files separately from the End Product.

Where reasonably possible, the Licensed Product must be included in a compiled, packaged, protected, encrypted, or otherwise non-editable form appropriate to the End Product.

In-game character customization is permitted. For example, players may be allowed to select or display a hairstyle within a game, provided that they cannot download, export, extract, access, or reuse the hairstyle as a standalone 3D asset or digital file.

6. Client Work and Team Access

The Licensee may use the Licensed Product in work created for a client, including rendered content, animations, games, software applications, or other permitted End Products.

If the client receives only the completed End Product and cannot separately access or reuse the Licensed Product files, no additional Extended License is required for the delivery of that End Product.

If the client receives source files, editable project files, asset packages, Unity or Unreal project files containing accessible Licensed Product files, or any other files that allow the Licensed Product to be separately reused, the client must obtain their own Extended License for each applicable Licensed Product.

The Licensee remains responsible for ensuring that any employee, contractor, studio member, or client who is given authorized project access complies with this Agreement.

7. Prohibited Uses

The Licensee may not:

  • Sell, resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, give away, upload, transfer, or otherwise make available the original or modified Licensed Product as a standalone file or Reusable Asset.
  • Include the Licensed Product in an asset pack, 3D model pack, hair pack, character pack, template pack, resource library, marketplace product, downloadable character package, stock asset collection, or any similar product intended for reuse by others.
  • Distribute the Licensed Product in DAZ, FBX, OBJ, Blender, Character Creator, Unity, Unreal Engine, texture, source, editable, or any other reusable asset format, except internally as strictly necessary to create a permitted End Product.
  • Make the Licensed Product available through a character creation tool, avatar creation service, customization platform, modding system, asset library, or on-demand service where users can download, export, extract, or reuse the Licensed Product outside a permitted End Product.
  • Use the Licensed Product in a way that enables third parties to offer, distribute, sell, or share the Licensed Product, or a substantially similar modified version of it, as a reusable digital asset.
  • Claim ownership, authorship, copyright, or exclusive rights over the Licensed Product, whether in its original or modified form.
  • Remove, conceal, alter, or misrepresent any copyright, ownership, or licensing information associated with the Licensed Product.

8. Ownership and Copyright

The Licensed Product is licensed, not sold. The Licensor retains all rights, title, copyright, and intellectual property rights in and to the Licensed Product.

The Licensee does not acquire ownership of the Licensed Product by purchasing an Extended License or by modifying the Licensed Product.

The Licensee retains ownership of the original elements of their End Product, excluding the Licensed Product itself and any original elements of the Licensed Product incorporated into a modified version.

9. No Transfer or Sublicensing

This Extended License is granted only to the Licensee who purchased or lawfully obtained it. The Licensee may not transfer, assign, resell, sublicense, or give this license to another person, company, client, organization, or third party.

Limited access by employees or contractors working directly on the Licensee's permitted End Product is allowed only under the conditions stated in this Agreement and does not transfer ownership or licensing rights to those persons.

10. Term and Termination

This Agreement remains effective unless terminated due to a breach of its terms by the Licensee.

If the Licensee breaches a material term of this Agreement, the Extended License shall terminate automatically unless the Licensor expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

Upon termination, the Licensee must cease any new use, sale, publication, or distribution of the Licensed Product and must delete or destroy all original and reusable copies of the Licensed Product in their possession or control, except where retention is required by applicable law.

Termination does not transfer ownership of the Licensed Product to the Licensee and does not limit any rights or remedies available to the Licensor in relation to unauthorized use, distribution, or infringement.

11. Compatibility, Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Licensee is responsible for verifying that the Licensed Product is compatible with their software, workflow, rendering environment, game engine, application, or intended End Product before final distribution or publication.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensor shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Licensed Product.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits any liability or statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France.

If the Licensee is a consumer, nothing in this Agreement deprives the Licensee of any mandatory consumer protection rights available under the laws of their country of residence where such rights apply.

Any dispute relating to this Agreement shall be submitted to the competent courts in accordance with applicable law.

13. Updates to this Agreement

SdeBStore may update this Extended License Agreement for future purchases. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the version of this Agreement made available to the Licensee at the time of purchase applies to the corresponding Licensed Product and Extended License.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing or otherwise receiving an Extended License for a Licensed Product from SdeBStore, the Licensee acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the terms of this Extended License Agreement.
